Dr. Thomas Becher
"Dr Tom" Becher has been setting the highest standards of excellence in pediatric dentistry in central Ohio since 1983. He earned his dental degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1981 where he was awarded a national Certificate of Merit from the American Society of Dentistry for Children honoring him for outstanding achievement in pediatric dentistry. He was also inducted into the Beta Delta honorary dental fraternity for academic excellence.
After graduation he completed his specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the Mott Children’s Health Center and Hurley Medical Center in central Michigan in 1983, where he also received in depth academic and clinical training in interceptive (early) orthodontics. He was again recognized for excellence during his hospital residency, having been awarded a Meritous Presentation at the Frank V. Hodges Research Forum, Hurley Medical Center, and recognized for his presentation at the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Annual Meeting.
As a board certified pediatric dentist and esteemed colleague of the dental community, Dr. Becher is an active member in many leading dental organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Orthodontic Society. He also continues to update and improve his skills by regularly attending continuing education courses throughout the year.
In his spare time, Dr. Becher enjoys spending time with his wife of over 30 years and playing golf with his two grown sons. During the winter months he stays busy with various home improvement projects.
