Financial & Insurance

Payment

Just as we are committed to providing excellent pediatric dental care, we are concerned about making it affordable to you. To help control billing and accounting costs, payment is expected at the time services are rendered. For your convenience, our office accepts cash, personal checks, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express.

Dental Insurance

Our office accepts most insurance plans and is a participating provider with Delta Dental and Cigna. We are dedicated to providing all of our patients with the finest treatment available and base our treatment recommendations on your child’s needs – not insurance benefits.

Prior to completing any treatment we will gladly provide you with a cost estimate indicating our total fee, what we anticipate your insurance benefit to be, and your estimated out-of-pocket portion. We will always do our best to maximize the insurance benefits that you are eligible to receive, and we appreciate your prompt settlement of any charges that may be incurred during the treatment process.

Filing of insurance claims is done as a courtesy to our patients. If you are planning to use dental insurance, please bring your insurance card as well as any additional information required to file your insurance claim to your first visit. We will make a copy of your card and maintain this information in your file to allow for processing of future claims. If you do not bring the required information, all fees for rendered services will be due in full at this visit. It is your responsibility to keep us informed of any changes or updates in your insurance information.

Most insurance plans cover only a portion of the dental fee, which means you will be responsible for your deductible and the estimated co-payment. Your co-payment is expected at the time of services.

We must emphasize that as a healthcare provider, our relationship is with you and not your dental insurance carrier. Any amount not covered by your insurance company is your responsibility and is payable at the time services are rendered. We allow a maximum of 30 days for your insurance carrier to provide benefits for services. Any unpaid portions of your balance will be due in full and are your responsibility after that time period. Late payments are subject to a finance charge.

Please remember our office is here to service your needs. Please feel free to contact us with any insurance or payment questions.
